This is the one I just bought, which was recommended to me by a photographer friend: http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/canons1is/
It has a 10x optical zoom, Image Stabilization and manual controls. And 3.2MP is plenty for me, since I just throw them online and don't do much else with them.

I guess it all depends on what you're going to be using the camera for.

well the camera you bought is also a canon, and it was recommended by a photographer so thats good enough for me
