It's probably just the sound they want.(although most of us don't want it) I think the last time the trigger issue came up someone mentioned how when you see him live, it's obvious that Hellhammer hits his drums hard and fast enough to get a natural thundering sound but he prefers the "consistency" or something like that of the triggers.
