yeah, Floyd got a lot of shit for that. Roger Waters had a great response, something like "it's all extensions of what's coming out of our heads; the instruments aren't doing anything by themselves, so if we didn't have it in our heads in the first place the instruments would be useless." I think, in relation to the debate about triggers and so forth, it should be about the musician using the technology, and not vice versa, or used as a crutch to cover up inadequacy
