hey my new metal band (tenitevly called Burden of Liberty) is looking for a singer. We don't have any material recorded for mp3's right now but we are playing at the Brick House in Dover this thursday (1/27 with My Life Crisis, optic Rose and a couple more) so if anyone intrested wants to come down to see us and see if it's your thing,t hat would be cool.
Right now it's me on guitar, a bass and a drummer, so we need just the front man. Styles range from DEP, Neurosis, Ministry, Tool, old Metallica, old Megadeth, new(er) Testament, Fantomas/Tomahawk (big Mike Patton influence is cool). I guess "math metal" to some degree.
We're hoping the singer can actually sing really good in addition to screaming their head off and acting like a crazy fuck. We are all mid-twenties, trying to do this as seriously as we can, we'd liek someone with past experience that can write their own stuff, take the gig seriously but at the same time can have fun and hang out.
