I too love and support D'addario strings, among many that think their 16 dollar elixers are better.
Id put em up against any other string.

Ibanez rgt is sweet, thats about it unless its a 2000 dollar prestige.

actually, i've retired D'addario strings and now use either DR High Beams or Fodera Diamond bass strings. i've used D'addario for years, and they beat the shit out of most other strings like GHS and Dean Markley, but they still died to quickly. i've had these DR strings on for well over a month now, and my bass still sounds fantastic. damn, i need to start getting endorsements
