Black metal is Emperor. period. Black metal is supposed to be about satan and vikings and storming castles, and grim and frost bitten northern forests. What the fuck does America have to do with any of that? Every time I see some douche bag band from Kentucky, or New Hampshire, or Utah prancing around in corpse paint waving swords around and talking about "true metal" I've just got to stop and laugh at what complete knobs they are.
