I just want to tell everyone what i went through so you lot can feel better and think to yourselves that you don't have it so bad. I am 15 years old and I don't care what anyone says i can honestly say that i have had the worst case of conjuctivitis in the world last year. Last summer I got hay fever like every other summer. Only this time i had hay fever for about a month and eventually all my symtoms went away, etc. runny nose, but my eyes stayed red and infected. Then eventually my eyes got worse and worse and you could not see one see one spot of white on my eyes only pink and red. It stung like fuck. Dishcharge ejected from both my eyes all day and it was so hard to get out i had to touch my eyes and slide of the discharge with tissue at least once every 2 hours of the day. When the discharge gets into the middle of my eye's i can't see a thing it goes so blurry. I could not sleep at all because it hurt so much and if by a miracle i managed to get to sleep, when i woke up my eyes were so crusty i could not open my eyes until half an hour after i wake up. It looked like i was on drugs and my eyes were always watering and bright red and pink on the outside. I could not even go outside without feeling pain because even the slightest wind killed my eyes. Not only that my eyes actually changed colour. My eyes are normally a really deep brown colour but when i got the virus my eyes turned from brown to gray/blue. And no it didn't look nice because although it was a nice colour all you could notice was the pink/redness of my eyes and the discharge and water. Not only that but i went to my GP he tried his best but could not cure it, then i got transfered to a hospital and it was still uncurable, then i went to a proffesional eye specialist and she could not even help. Overall with all the people and treatment i was given, i tried about 3 different methods of cleansing the eyes, 3 different eye washes and 9 different types of eye drops and nothing worked. The eye specialist said she had never seen anything like it and shes been a professional for over 17 years and she has never met anyone who had is as long as me. I remember i got my conjuctivitis around May and It finally went completely away early September. The only way MINE was curable was for it to go away on it's own. I was like that for my exams in school even into my holiday and i could not even relax or go underneath the water in beaches or swimming pool i couldn't even handle a bit of wind going in to my eye.

So if you have conjuctivitis, unless your eyes were killing you every day that you could not relax at one moment of the day for about 5 MONTHS you can't complain. :-) Hope this helped and remember i am only 15 and i see ADULTS complaining. If some one like me who had it 5 times as bad as any of you AND if i managed to get through it for 5 months then im sure you lot can handle something which is a lot less painful then what i went through for a couple of days or weeks.

You don't see adults complaining since I was like 16 when I posted that... like 4 years ago haha.
