THAT'S different, Nirvana was an awful band that got their entire sound from other bands...nothing was original about that band at all. Christ, the main riff in Come as You Are was pulled note for note from a Killing Joke song.
I wouldnt say Pantera innovated Metal too much, but Dime was a hell of a guitar player and they made brutal Heavy Metal in the mainstream when a lot of bands really weren't

I agree with you about Nirvana, I was just stating that, much like Dwyer getting shit for hating Pantera...I'm constantly getting shit for my hatred of Nirvana
