Well, ok...I guess I just don't think it's about common decency or respect.
For all I knew, RRW could be a badass thrash band or they could be some horrible pop punk band that got on the bill cuz the singer is Dave Witte's little sisters boyfriendd or something. And I opted not to stand around in that really unpleasant room to take the chance.
I don't keep saying "I" because I'm taking this personally btw, it's because I think my experience is probably indicative of a lot of the kids there. I'm just trying to say that I don't think the reason people went outside for the opening bands is some "god damn young whippersnappers with no respect" attitude, it's a lack of promotion and a disgustingly hot venue.
