watain: after a really long set up time, they came out, poured what I thought was beer on the crowd but from my pictures was a red blood like substance. Mostlikely, it was blood. I sort of hope it was pigs blood since I know a jewish dude that got some on him. Their set was exactly oppositely awesome as it smelt. The club smelt like rotting fish that was rotting through some dead and charred iraqi's soldier's stomach, baking in the hawt desert sun. I didn't get the cover. I prpbably didn't even hear it. That place was so packed that I gave up trying to get to the stage. Shooting pictures in a place that is that packed is hard. Everything about their set ruled besides the smell. They sort of had a whole procession leading them up to the stage. But after a few songs, I had to wiggle my way out with my bag on my head to get out and pick carina up at south station before she was approached by some johns.
