Hailing from New York, Demolition Hammer's Epidemic Of Violence is a fine representation of the late-eighties brand of pure thrash metal. Slightly faster and a bit more in-your-face than many of their contemporaries, the album features the classic crunchy guitar sound and aggressive vocal style common to the genre, but is played with enough conviction to stand just above the rest. Reportedly the debut (Tortured Existence) is similar in style, while their third and last album, Time Bomb, shifts a bit toward Pantera territory.
