When Composted writes, we make sure every slam is going to be a fucking powerhouse, no matter how many slams there are in a song. This means we have to make sure that the riffs that precede and follow the slam complement the slam so it doesn't become boring and monotonous. We also take into consideration harmonizing, dynamics, syncopation, polyrhythms, layered vocals, etc. Plus we rip off the opening riff to "Don't Stop Believing," so we're clearly the best slam death metal band on the face of the motherfucking planet.
