First of all, ragging on someone for setting his guitar on fire is rather hypocritical coming from a GG Allin fan.

The guy invented so much shit that became so commonplace it almost seems generic by todays standard, but NO ONE was doing what he was doing at the time. No one sounded like that, no one played like that. The guy pretty much invented heavy metal.
and imo he was a phenomanal song writer. The stuff he was working on when he died was his best stuff ever. If all you know is the played out stuff thats played 8000 times a day on WZLX then you have no clue what you are talking about.
