Really...what reason is there to own a house more than 1200 square feet or so unless you have kids, in which case maybe double that unless you're some sort of freak family. What reason is there to have a bunch of kitchen appliances that make one type of food when you could consolidate them all into one appliance that would be much more cost effective? What reason is there to own a TV with a screen more than 30 inches large, or a couch with more than three seats, or multiple expensive cars when you only need to drive one? WHAT REASON IS THERE TO OWN AN SUV WHEN YOU WOULD FREAK OUT IF YOU DROVE OFF THE ROAD.

People who have the money to piss away should be giving it back to their communities rather than squandering it on unnecessary bullshit electronics, automobilies, and square footage. So basically I just took what Alex said and made it way longer because I am a plagarist.
