People are getting sick without having had any contact with pigs. They're getting it from human to human contact. So not good. I'd also be weary of any vaccine's they're producing to combat this virus. You think it's going to prevent infection, and low and behold, you've suddenly got it? That happened back during the 1918 Spanish Influenza pandemic as well, though I can't remember the exact mortality rate for "contaminated" vaccine's.

“This strain of swine influenza that’s been cultured in a laboratory is something that’s not been seen anywhere actually in the United States and the world, so this is actually a new strain of influenza that’s been identified,” said Dr. John Carlo, Dallas Co. Medical Director.

Cultured in a laboratory? Was that some Freudian slip?
