Basically what happened was I got intouch with the guy who writes the Extremities section of The Boston Weekly Dig. We got together to form a metal band. In the process of finding people to play we realized that there is no place in the city to just hang out get a drink and listen to real metal (we do play things other than Burzum don't worry). So since he worked at the Paradise he got the managment to let him and his friends DJ one night in January and based on the out come of that one night they would see if we could do more nights. Well 250 people showed up through the course of the night. So we got green lit for one monday night each month. Last month wasn't as crowded but still was a great turn out and now we got permission to have one live band featured each month. So I guess what I'm saying is, Helvete is a night at the Paradise Lounge where people can come in have some food, drink, listen to REAL metal, and maybe meet others like yourself. Its only in its third month but it could grow and become a big night. We as metal fans deserve a common night at a common place, so come out in support and see for yourself what its all about and don't forget to bring a CD if you would like your band to be featured one night.
