I guess you can see by the black poles in the pups, and the little logos on the left side of each pickup.

I only began to prefer neck-thru when I got a soloist with a trem and started doing ridiculously long divebombs. I could see a neck-thru being a bit of an issue there, but since this is a fixed trem I wouldn't worry. Depends too on the music you're playing - if it's thrash and you really don't need a very organic sound then you're probably good.

Protip: use a little piece of electrical tape on the back of the hole to prevent crap from getting in the control cavity.
