That's like comparing apples to oranges. It's not that he can't sing - he's got range - it's the style he utilizes. I don't think it fits the music at all, let alone many other genres. Then again, I've always hated Rush's vocals too, but liked their (older) music. The first time I was shown Coheed, I could not make it through a song, even though musically they were precise. I can't relate to the emotions or music they produce and don't particularly enjoy that kind of music. I don't always listen to metal, but they are certain boundaries I don't cross, and Coheed is the ghey.
