I also found a video where he randomly slightly confirmed my deepest wish for the new Hobbit films, I guess he may play the voice of Smaug.

Also, the second film of the two is not the Hobbit broken into two movies, apparently it's an unknown story that ties the hobbit into the lord of the rings mostly focusing on the white council, but I think Lee will be dead by then, or retire from films, dude will be 90 by then.
