Hey Chris, I was hoping to have one of my new jacksons in by then but that will be pusing it as they will need to be set up. I can bring my other jackson but it would totally kill if you had a jackson I could borrow for the night tuned to D standard.

I will have my tuner with me so as long as I have something heavy to play thru I should be cool. I have my sound set with my mesa and vader cabs but when traveling I do the best I can. so I can make do with just about anything, if I can tweak it a bit cool, if not col as well. the two cab set up you listed above sound fine dude.

Is the jackson you have a crazy shape or the normal strat?
