I'm not basing my criticism of them on the fact that they're attracting a hipster crowd whatever the fuck that means. I'm criticizing Watain because their later work is derivative garbage. Around Sworn to the Dark they stopped sounding like what Nifelheim might have been if they hadn't gone stagnant. Instead Watain turned into a Dissection tribute band.
