I stumbled upon this review that I didn't know anything about:

Disengaged-The Ocean (Not Common)
This is a really diffenret album. It is a comination of punkish hardcore and grindcore. The vocals are of the higher pitched grind variety. What the band does to make themselves stand alone is to use very calm instrumental parts, with all out grind. Sometimes the grind vocals even accompany the calm music. “Can’t Stop Bleeding” is the best example of this. This album, both calm, and turbulent is well suited to its titled.
