Ladies,

As we are in the midst of casual summer HR has had to remind some of the ladies that work in our area about dress code. I've been asked to just give everyone a little note to remind everyone of the dress code so no one in the group has any trouble with HR or anyone else for that matter.

So…some of the no-nos….

Midriff baring tops/pants. The new fashions are low on the hips pants and short shirts. Please remember these two do not go together well at work.

Halter tops

Low cut tops

Tank tops

Short shorts

Short Skirts

"beat up" jeans and such

Tight clothing

Here's the excerpt from the guidelines page:

Generally, jeans, t-shirts and sneakers are not considered acceptable Business Casual Dress outside of manufacturing and product development areas. Unacceptable throughout the company are shorts; clothing that is faded, frayed or torn; any clothing that is too tight, too short or too revealing; sweatpants; tank tops or halter tops; baseball caps; and "flip-flops."

Just to remind folks casual summer dress was at the discretion of our VP so it could be reversed if not followed.
