... alot of the newer hardcore. What gives? It's gone downhill. Most stuff up till 2001 I love, but then it gets to be ALL breakdowns or just stuff leading up to breakdowns :(

yeah every type of music has/is/will go through the same things!

hardcore is not about music anymore it is about being cool or "scene" as long as you are the biggest scene geek and have the most scene friends and if you play with the same 5 scene bands forever you could always book a show at the palladium.

i too love hardcore but rarely go to shows. i still think hardcore shows are more fun than metal shows but there are too many little kids, tuff guys and crews.

I'd say that Hardcore shows are more fun too! Maybe the kids are dorky or scenesters or whatever you want to call them, but for the most part they are fun kids and the shows are usually good times. I'm not going to the Colin show cause we're playing a show in the next town over (BARRE CITY). We're playing a hardcore show too, hardcore kids go crazy over our music for some reason.

I think metal shows are more fun, everyone is there to have fun without an attitude like they have a board up their ass and something to prove.

Noosebomb is a hardcore band, so is It Will End In Pure Horror, but since they aren't total fags they didnt really fit into the MA hardcore scene.
