Take exit 20. Get on the Mass Pike heading west. Get off at the Allston/Brighton/Cambridge exit. Pay a $1 toll. Take the Allston exit and go straight through about 3 intersections. It'll be on your left (Harvard Ave).

I always go to Mass ave (exit 18?) and then I think it's a left at the end of the exit towards mass ave. then and right on to mass ave.
then you drive down til you see the set of lights before crossing over the bridge to cambridge (beacon st?) and take a left.
go through one set of lights and take a right on to rt.2
get off rt 2. on the first right exit.
left at the end of the ramp and follow that til obrien's is on your right (harvard st)

oh, my directions jew you around the toll.
the toll way is easier, but I never jew that way

The Masspike way would prob be faster, but I was thinking go up to exit 26, Storrow Dr. west, and take that to the Cambridge St. exit (the one after the pike exit), and take Cambridge St. right there...

Pike is the easiest way, downside is forking out the dollar

Take the highway(93) into the tunnel, take the Storrow Drive exit(once in the exit get into the right lane,and at the split with North Station, get into the right lane again.) Stay on Storrow and take the first right hand exit,Western Ave ithink. Take the first left and go straight.go straight through about 4 or so intersections. It'll be on your left (Harvard Ave).
It's only about 3 minutes slower than the pike(yes, i timed it). I've been commuting around Boston for 5 years now, i know my shit. DON'T YOU DARE QUESTION ME!!! FEAR THE FACE SMASHING WRATH OF DOUG!!!
