Legendary German Thrashers SODOM have been confirmed to perform at next years Minneapolis Mayhem 2 Metalfest, which takes place on May 7, 2005. This will be their only North American performance. Also, will appear at the festival are Las Vegas thrashers AVENGER OF BLOOD. More details about the festival, as well as more band confirmations are to be expected shortly

I saw Avenger of Blood play outside at a tattoo convention in Vegas. They fucking rip. Total Sodom worship, but in the best possible way.

Long-running San Francisco Bay Area thrashers SADUS, featuring current TESTAMENT/SEBASTIAN BACH bassist Steve DiGiorgio, have been confirmed for this year's Minneapolis Mayhem 2 festival, set to take place on May 7. Also scheduled to appear at the festival are German thrashers SODOM and the Las Vegas, NV-based AVENGER OF BLOOD. More bands will be announced soon.

Why don't you come along? I know tons of people who are going to be at that show, maybe we should rent a car and go for road trip that would be a good opportunity to hang out and cause some trouble.

21 hours drive from Mapquest but that's non stop, so count 2 days drive.

Most places will let you rent a car if you're under 25, they just charge you extra.
