Drama and Thriller
1 hr. 41 min. Michael Keaton plays successful architect Jonathan Rivers, whose peaceful existence is shattered by the unexplained disappearance and death of his wife, Anna (Chandra West). Jonathan is eventually contacted by a man (Ian McNeice), who claims to be receiving messages from Anna through EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomenon), the process through which the dead communicate with the living through household recording devices. At first skeptical, Jonathan then becomes convinced of the messages' validity, and is soon obsessed with trying to contact her on his own. His further explorations into EVP and the accompanying supernatural messages unwittingly open a door to another world, allowing something uninvited into his life.

it was a good film, to many people in the theater so it was noisy at times, there was a twist i didn't like too much at the end, but it was a pretty intense film

i heard from multiple people that this movie sucked complete ass (all build up with a shitty half assed ending) If any of you people liked this movie then you are probably the same people who like "Darkness" which was absolutely the worst movie I have ever seen in my life.

i listen to the people who have the same frame of mind as me. i'm not gonna waste another 2 hours of my life on a movie that the majority of my friends who share teh same intrests as me said is horrible.

this movie wasn't that bad... though I thought the ending was kind of dumb, but I liked all the EVP stuff cause it was freak.

this movie was god awful.

It had a couple of scary visuals but that's about it. Those 3 shadow dudes chilaxin in that warehouse or factory or whatever it was at the end were a little creepy. But then again so is Michael Keaton.

Yeah, I slept through all the build up. When I woke, another Michael Keaton movie was on, Called post grad. Oooooof!

Michael Keaton was the best batman.
