There is a nasty rumor going around that Cryptic Warning is going to change their name to something revoltingly emo. This thread is for anyone who likes the name as is. I'm not trying to make news for the band... this is just a rumor as far as I know, but just in case they are really thinkin about it... bad idea.

Just so that this isn't some random rumor I might as well make a semi-official statement about this:

More news will be coming down the line but, in short, after we release and support SANITY'S ABERRATION (May 9th 2005, @ Middle East Upstairs w/ Cephalic Carnage) there will be changes for the band.

It doesn't really seem like it but the three of us have been a band together for almost 5 years now and I think we are outgrowing the name "Cryptic Warning" somewhat. We will most likely be changing our name in the next year.
