i know alot of you here didn't even like that band, but they turned their back on their brother/their drummer and showed how shitty the remaining members of WLD really are...

as some of you might know, When Legends Die was supposed to be going on tour with Human Flight Committee this summer, but for some various/unknown reasons, the tour was cancelled. There was to be no tour.

as of this morning, I was told by a member of the band WLD that the band has left for tour with HFC without telling one of the band members, and is having a member of HFC sub in there spot. Now, not only was this tour "cancelled", but completely blindsided the member who has been left behind. For a band thats been together for awhile, and seemed to know like they know what they were doing, this is a sneaky, low, and shitty move on all there parts.

in conclusion, it has been asked that any support for the band When Legends Die should be cut off, and done with.

Do Not Support a Band That Can Do Something Like This To Someone They Called There Brother

SOMETHING LIKE THIS DESERVES NO SUPPORT AT ALL.

now i know that this is hard to do, we all love(d) those kids, but it needs to be done. people like that dont deserve the support, money, and hard work and sweat we give to them.


no more WLD shows. no more WLD merch. screw the WLD myspace. stay strong, be true to what you really know and agree with, and end support for that band.

Whoever they did that to must be a complete retard, so fuck him.

They used to act like best friends with their drummer so I guess he didn't think twice when they said the tour was cancelled. But they took advantage of his trust. The band sucks anyway I just wanted to get it out there for people that went to their shows on here.

That's a seemingly dickish move on the band's behalf, but the original poster left out why the band did this to the drummer. There's obviously two sides to every story.
It doesn't matter anywho, that susie person wants people on this forum to stop supporting WLD, but the fact of the matter is, the kindof people on this board don't listen to bands like when legends die anyways.

I remember when this band was called better than today, that was about 3 years ago, it was amusing to say the least, they were kinda emo-metal-core or something like that. Then they were drowning request; same thing, but with a christian twist. And now they're When Legends Die, they play a special brand of metalcore which I have dubbed "drifters-core"

I don't know why everyone is so surprised by this, it's not like they haven't wronged anyone before. I'm not saying all the kids in this band are scam artists, but the singer of this band attempted to steal $360 from my old band 2 years ago, and he wasn't even in our band. We at least learned from it.

"First off, we want to say that in spite of everything that happened between us and Tim, we regret the way we handled this situation. We should have been more mature about it and talked to him instead of act out of emotion. There are many reasons why we considered replacing him, one of which was the fact that he told us and others on several different occasions that he was going to quit. This has nothing to do with Human Flight Committee, Shoot Ya Wounded, or any other band/person. Every single decision we made was based mainly on us. We cannot stress this anymore or enough, we did this on our own. We were in fact kicked off the tour and we decided at the last minute to do two dates and at the last minute we continued on as far as we could. Aaron only did drums for us on the tour as a fill in and will not be a permenant drummer. Will and Aaron only practiced for an hour because he played bass for us at a show. We only played three songs every night still not knowing if we could play. But despite everything that happened and though we still stand by the decision we made, we still wish Tim the best with everything that he does in the future, no matter what it is.

We are coming home soon and all of the dates are still on. See you guys soon.

I know a lot of people on here never heard of us or even like us. I could careless. But for someone who only knows Tim's side of the story to go out of the way to try to boycott us on a board who doesn't give two shits about us is a bit far. Tim has done some things that brought all of this up. We didn't come to this conclusion for no reason. How we handled it was probably not the best way but we, including Tim himself, have acted out of emotion without thinking about things many times. We regret how we handled it. I have no hard feelings towards him and I do wish him the best of luck with everything he does. If you really want to know what happened then send us a message on MySpace.
