This cat knows whats up, Godflesh is perfect for the fall. Especially "Selfless" and "Us and Them", but all are perfect gems for the grey season. Except for "Hymns", what a piece of shit.

i really like "Hymns". as far as i can tell even Justin Broadrick doesnt like it, there isnt a mention of it at all on the "In All Languages" cd. its not nearly as good as his previous stuff, but i really like alot of the songs. "Us and Them" he hated as well, i've actually read where he apologized for making it. again i really like that too. but it doesnt compare to the earlier stuff, i'd have to say my favorite one is "Streetcleaner". that is such a dismal album, its soul crushing. i fucking love Godflesh.

Yes, Godflesh is my second favorite band, huge influence. I know he hated "Us and Them", but god that is such an awesome album. The second to last song on it, "the internal" is one best songs ever concieved, so underrated. As far as "Hymns", three good songs, one of them being the secret song on the end. Its just filled with really weak, throw away riffs. Some of it is almost to much to bare.

As far as a fav, the obligatory "Streetcleaner" and S/T ep.
