I have a bunch of shit coming up in the studio that would interest people in here.

I just finished tracking Cut Down the Tall Trees last weekend. On this coming Monday we are going to mix this 6 song EP entitled Unsexy Concepts. You can hear some demo recordings on their MySpace. If you dig Converge, Botch, and The End I would say check these dudes out.

Next weekend I'll be tracking and mixing a song and some improvisational piece by Blacktail. These guys are one of my favorite bands from Boston right now. They also have Chris from Doomriders.

Sea of Bones are scheduled to record a new album and a couple demo tracks for the first weekend of March. These guys are great. I wish they made more of a name for themselves around Boston.

I've been talking to Sin of Angels about doing their new one. We haven't come up with a date or anything. They are still demoing the material and will be sending me preproduction stuff whenever it's all set.

Cape Cod's Western Syndrome is also going to be booking some time to record at Mad Oak. These guys sort of remind me of early Level Plane or Robotic Empire stuff. It's really cool.

Chicago's Lord Mantis featuring Bill from Indian on drums will be making the 14+ hour drive to Mad Oak to record a new one in mid-April. They will be playing a show here in Boston and a few shows on the way back home. If you like American Heritage or Mastodon, I think you'll dig these guys.

And lastly, I'll be heading back to Chicago with Lord Mantis to record the first album for Planet Struck. This band is relatively new, but fans of 16 should be aware. They also have some parts that remind me of Black Cobra or Cauldron. I'll be recording this at Sanford Parker's (Buried at Sea, Minsk) Volume Studios (Pelican, Raise the Red Lantern, Indian, Rwake, Minsk, etc).
