DOUR CURSIVA
THE WORLD SERIES
THE IF IN LIFE
ACARIYA

Dour Cursiva: well, well, well, it's been over a year since I last saw them (when I got the tshirt?) and the band has changed so much. er.. By that I mean, only one singer and a new drummer. Brian used to be fun to shoot cause of all that long, face-hiding hair. Now, it doesn't have anything to do and when he headbangs, there's no money shot at the end! They started off with a song I knew. But most of their songs turned in to a DDR session with white kids in the crowd (I'm sure they are the world series fans). No mosh, but the sound was superior and crisp. Drew might just be getting a handle on the sound there, finally. People need to tell cav he looks pretty. he took his glasses off just for you, the viewing public.
world series, the: ok, so I was mistaken, the tour was a real tour. I saw the first and last date. The entire audience was their friends (and family). Tons of people singing along to every single word. It was bizarre. These guys are like the backstreet boyband of this part of NH. Everyone in the audience just goes nuts, but rich horror would approve it cause a girl got punched in the face. I was very apt when I said they sounded like ETID. The sound tonight at the DBH is exception so they sounded really good and tight.Their set ended with a near smashed bass and a smashed guitar that was all to a song dedicated to me. Mostly cause I rock the party, apparently.
acariya: was the drummer for duran duran free? Wow, that's huge. A lot of the people there for the world series took off. A few of them came back as acariya was playing. Seems like there are plenty of people sitting/standing outside still. They played tight as always and there was a tiny bit of moshing at the end, just a tiny bit.
if in life, the: been a while since I saw them. They went crazy and a lot of the people from the world series crowd came back and there was much dancing. Seems that they love the if in life too. They ended their set with a rage against the machine cover. Not really a fan of it, but it was perfect. The singer went on guitar and some other dude got on stage. I kept wondering when they would bust out sabotage.
internet, the: didn't al gore start this band? well, he probably had to step out to do the live earth and tour for a whatever truth. A 3-person nu-grind band with only bass, drum, and vocals. It was pretty sick. The bassist had a sweat band on his bass as a mute and tapped a lot. I don't know where it was coming from, but there were some screams that weren't coming from the singer. They ended with a song about bill gates and then everyone begged them to play it again. so the did. Some jerk yelled out "that didn't sound anything like the first time."
I hit myself with a microphone. Sometimes I yell into it too.
Right on.
Being a vocalist is my favorite part of being in a band. You can beat yourself and other people with the mic, yell into it, scream at people, say anything you want, etc.
Yea, they were sick. Like their myspace says, they're a melting pot of different genres. Good stuff. I had the privilege of screaming with the singer a lot.

I love how you describe me by what's on my face. But yes, I am the "dude with the lip ring". You were in Aaron's way a lot when he was trying to take pics of the bands.

I didn't really know how else to describe you.
and I was only on stage a couple times during LCTR when I was doing video.

I wasn't trying to be rude so don't take it that way. I was just making an observation.
I will say there was a group of girls up front most of the show that I wanted to stick a soldering iron through the backs of their skulls because of how annoying they were.
