so today i'm coming back from getting my brakes done in quincy... i live in brighton so i took storrow drive... storrow is a two-lane on each side deal with guard rails on each side... i'm in the right lane going about 50 or so... there's a white suv thing in the left lane about a car length in front of me... he's going about 50 too.. we turn a corner and come up on the exit for allston/cambridge (cambridge st) and this fucker no brakes, no signals swerwes from the left lane into my lane forcing me to jump on the brakes (good thing the mechanic did a good job) and just about pushes me into the guard rail (about 6-7 inches off) to take the exit. now i was going to go straight because my exit was up about a mile but he forced me into the exit. i'm ok with this as now he will feel my wrath at the red light in front of us... i exchange several pleasantries with said driver in which he tries to blame me for the near pileup he almost caused and said i shouldn't have been where i was. i asked him if where he's from they exit highways from the left lane. he was unable to muster a response for that.... i drove away satisfied with my fork-tounged wit...

This is why I advocate heat-seeking car-to-car missiles being installed in my car. I would be an amazing dispenser of automotive justice. That plate would've gotten them a warning blast before they even had a chance to cut you off.

some dood beeped at me yesterday... i was coming out of a one lane into a two lane road and i needed to take an immediate left ( like 3 car lengths away) in dead stop traffic so i was waiting for the cars in the left lane to move so i could get in. he was pissed he couldn't get into the right lane so he leaned on the horn and i proceeded to flip him off.
well at this point he felt it was just to roar ahead to my right and as me if "there is a problem asshole"
so i tell him "takin a left motha fucka"
then he tells me hes gonna go park so we can fight. haha. total boston accent... NH plates.

I've been driving to and from NH for a few weeks and I have to say, a good portion of NH and Maine drivers are just as bad as the majority of MA drivers. There is a lot more courtesy from people in the northern part of NH, but I can't even count the amount of accidents I've had to avoid due to stupid people with NH or Maine plates. Just yesterday, I got into the passing lane to get around a line of cars going about 55 in a 65; I was travelling at about 85 to speed up the process, and some douchebag got right up behind me and tailgated me like a motherfucker until I got in front of the slow traffic. Then, instead of going faster, the guy that was behind me fucking slowed down. Further down the highway, I hit another line of slow as shit cars, so I headed into the passing lane, again going about 85. Same asshole from before got right the fuck on my ass, then slowed down to maybe 75 as soon as I got back in the slow lane. What the christ is that about? This happened about 7 times within a 30 minute period.

Just 10 minutes after that, I was changing lanes from the passing lane to the center lane (keep in mind, I always use blinkers no matter what), and as soon as I got 3/4 of the way into the center lane, some other douchebag in the right lane looks me right in the face, then turns abruptly into the center lane with no blinker, forcing me back into the passing lane. Right after that, literally RIGHT after that, the fucking guy got back into the right lane! WHERE IS THE FUCKING LOGIC?!

I also had to deal with 3 idiots racing each other on the highway; I was in the right lane going 70 in a 65 and one of them was right on my ass a number of times. You don't tailgate in the slow lane...that is fucking retarded.

I could go on and on, but I'll stop before I get too heated up.

i walk Monday through Friday to and from work and train stations, and after observing for the past year, i have to say i agree with Murf that "dooshsticks come from everywhere". the out of state plates i see have drivers just as bad as MA. i've almost been hit by just as many out of staters as in-staters. i am waiting patiently for the day that i watch a massive pileup unfold in front of me.

when someone gets on my ass, I abruptly brake in hopes that they crash into the back of my car...hasn't happened yet though. I think I need to brake even harder.

I want to say that Florida drivers are the most heinous. I know Florida is not in New England.

South Florida drivers are fucking NUTS! The absolute worst drivers I've experienced in the US are Ohio drivers. Holy fucking shit. These people must have deathwishes, or just no fucking concept of consequence. I can't even begin to describe the stupid shit I have seen on roads in Ohio.

Everyone in the US should be glad they don't live in Italy though; they drive like they're just people who can walk going 90 mph with a suit made of metal and wheels.

I hate when people tailgate but I would never hit my brakes on purpose to screw with them. In the long run, if it works, the entire insurance claim process is never worth it. I try to avoid accidents as much as possible because my life is already inconvenienced enough, haha.
