Just finished going through season 3 of this show and I'm convinced it's the best show on TV. I don't have a whole lot to elaborate on right now because I finished up around 4 and got up for work around 7...so yeah...

it's good.

This show is so fucking amazing that it's almost excusable that you made another thread about it.

toggletoggle post by brian_dc  at Jan 23,2008 10:13am
last thread I saw about it was from 2006

*shrugs*

There was another thread, but this show still rules.

I've only seen the first 2 episodes this season, but I know the first 7 are up online right now.

This show absolutely kicks ass. Best series show on television in my opinion. Clive Davis has me going "sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeyiiiiiiiiit" all the time now.

Downloading episodes 503-507 right now for later viewing. Plus a friend wants me to burn them to DVD for him.

Just finished watching the series finale. I want to have sex with this show.

i saw the second to last episode and thought it was sweet. then university facilities figured out that we stole our cable and shut it off. bummer. homicide was fucking awesome, so i'm not surprised that this show rules, too.

I honestly don't know what I'm going to do without this show in my life anymore...I guess I'll just continue to watch them over and over again starting at season 1.

I loved this finale though. Michael is the new Omar, Syndor is the new McNulty, drug game keeps running. Perfect.

It's fucked that the new day never came and that Danielles had to quit instead of fixing the police dept, but that's how it is. Good shit indeed.

I burned season 1 on DVD for MFR to watch but season 1 is a little slow and I can't get him to finish watching it. I'm going to have to dislocate one of his knees.

Season 1 is still one of my favorites

awesome article...

I guess I should start watching Homicide: Life on the Streets.

And then watch all of The Wire again.

I suggest any Wire nerds look into this thread:

I posted a bunch of stupid fun facts and links to aerial bird's eye shots of places frequently seen on the wire.

I like how they wrapped up all the ends, but still show how everything that has taken place in the show is cyclical (Duqe has junkie parents, ends up a junkie; Barksdale falls, Marlo comes up; Omar falls, but Michael takes his place; Carcetti goes to governor, that broad becomes mayor, and the shit starts all over again).

Fucking awesome show...I'm gonna miss it, but I'm glad they didn't try to stretch it out for another season or two.

Just finished rewatching season 5. Awesome.

toggletoggle post by menstrual_sweatpants_disco   at Mar 15,2008 12:06pm
wtf, I just saw Michael Kostroff (dude who plays Maurice Levy, the drug lawyer) on an Arby's commercial. It's the one where the construction workers pass up yelling shit at that broad and yell it at the dude with the Arby's bag instead. He is that dude.
