I have a 42" LCD tv. It has an extremely thin green line on the right side of the tv. Works perfectly, and the line only appears when I use the tv on standard definition. When using the tv while playing video games, watching DVDs, or watching tv in high definition the line is NOT there. To make a long story short, I'm getting refunded the money I paid for the tv AND get to keep this tv. They don't want it back even though it works fine minus that green line that I've learned to deal with considering it's so miniscule. So my question to you guys oh wise ones: do I sell my tv and use the money for a way better one, keep it and spend the money on something else, or do I just buy another one and keep both? Keep in mind it's a gift certificate and not straight cash. If it were, I wouldn't even think twice about this situation. I'd blow my money on whores.

I'd buy one from you...but then you'd make less money because you couldn't resist my dick

keep it and buy something else. If it doesn't bother you, than why waste more on another TV?

if the green line does not boother you just consider it a free tv and save/spend the $900. You can get alot of whores and coke for 900

Give both to me and you won't have to worry about anything!

if the tv has a PC video input, or if you have any other way to input your computer, do it. i take downloading free hi def movies/shows/whatever for granted. since it's not standard definition it won't show that line. take the gift certificate and buy more shit to be able to watch/play more stuff in hi-def.

mark, you have yourself a deal sir. I'm leaning towards keeping it, and maybe getting a surround sound to accompany it. But at the same time, I could get a 52" Sony Bravia for $1400. Meaning I'd only have to spend $500 for a brand new tv. Decisions, decisions.

toggletoggle post by brian_dc  at Dec 9,2008 3:33pm
let's get hypothetical. What would you be looking to sell the 42" for if you were to go the other way with it?

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Dec 9,2008 3:57pm
the 52" bravia is more than $1,400 if it's any good.

yea wtf you have how much time left to watch non hi def stuff? 2009 is weeks away and comcast stops in 2010

free shit is the best because everytime you use it you know its free ;)

toggletoggle post by swamplorddvm  at Dec 9,2008 7:45pm
Use it to get other things that you might "need" or something that well add to your telly watching experience.

OR sell it to some one who would like to use it and save the money, for someday you might actually NEED it.

yeah I'm leaning towards keeping it and getting an onkyo surround sound then some other things for the house. But my mind changes very quickly and stupidly
