I reformatted my computer the other day, and then re-installed everything.
None of my audio programs work, video will play, but with no audio.

I am not very computer literate when it comes to trouble shooting or anything, so if anyone knows what to do and can explain it to me in a detailed step by step tutorial, I would appreciate it.

you probably didn't install the sound driver.
right click on "my computer"
then click properties
hardware
device manager
and then look to see if there are yellow ?'s in there.
that means windows doesn't have a driver for them.

I see the yellow question marks next to other devices

so how do I fix this now?

then go to the companies website and dl the drivers.
