New site? Maybe some day.
Wednesday, September 2
A.N.S. - Skatethrash meets Black Flag from Texas
Ramming Speed - a thrash, grind, guitar solo sandwich
Male Nurses - early '80s styled hardcore from the Lowell area
Fast Death - new Boston band, older Boston dudes. Sounds like Scandi HC to me a bit
At the Midway
I'm not sure what time or the price, but probably "the usual"
This is a LUCHO show. Please contact him directly with any questions.
Should be cool |
so.. even though you went to rich horrors show, it's not on the events page and there are no times? |
Thanks for coming to my show, Jonah.
All the touring bands on this are of a ridiculously awesome nature. |

yes. yes they are. |
doors at 7:00, first band goes on at 7:30. |
I put it on events when I had a chance
anyway, these dudes shredded obriens so hard. Come show support at a show sure to have lots of circle pitting and stage diving! |
I was planning on swimming tonight and not going to a show.. but I guess jonah has other plans for me. |
get there 7:30 shaaahp for the brutal artillery attack |
locusta and artillery breath owned in atlanta. bands rip. still havent seen ANS :( |
whaI'm leaving for this now.
just finding the address. |
they ruled. glad i made it in time. artillery breath was so good.
locusta was even more of an oddball on the bill. both sweedish influenced and more deathmetally vocalwise. |
i dont see the scandinavian thing at all. they were good, more rocky then i expected. and they did a cover? i think that little white lies song was a cover. people actually danced for them. pays to be local some time. |
ramming speeed was excellent as you would expect. they played fast, ended fast, and had a circle pit. i imagine this is what a dri fan's daydreams are like. |
ramming speed's set was of epic length compared to male nurses. they had some guy doing awkward comedy befor the, but then their went by so fast. reminded me of an updated dead boys. sonic reducer indeed. at the end of their set, the mic stopped working at the singer went in the moshing crowd while the band played one more instramental diddy. |
This was a really, really fun show |
