Hopefully Windows 7 doesn't suck too much because I'm going to build a desktop for Diablo III. Until then, I'll be sticking with my MacBook.

Windows 7 is awesome. Been using it for months.

No problems with Vista after service pack 1. There are speed issues with large scale deployment but anyone not in IT wouldn't give a fuck about that.

Benchmarks show that Vista game performance is better, and 7 will be even better in a few months when drivers are optimized. Mac and Linux are great to have, but from an IT standpoint they're impossible to manage compared to Microsoft stuff, and I play games, which Windows beats out every other OS in every way.

I've been using Windows 7 the past few months (have final version now) and it's the best Windows I've used. Installed it on my desktop last night, it's smoother than Vista and the GUI improvements bring it over the top.

in other news, I hate working with/fixing computers and I can't wait to get out of this profession.

I love the new tool bar in win7. I tend to have like 30-50 windows open over 3 monitors from the same PC.

Vista x64 ultimate working great for me, going on 2 years. Running 7 on my laptop since April also with no problems.
