Took a little longer to announce because I changed the original date of August 5th. I ain't gonna compete with Cynic playing all of Focus the same night in Allston. So yeah, this show is gonna rule!

wat?! i didnt hear about that! ok i probably did and forgot...but thats cooooool.
Our pianist is leaving the band after the show. Dan's being all pessimistic and figuring it'll take forever to get back into gigging shape if we find someone to fill her spot (I don't want to say "replace" because I don't think anyone could truly replace her). I've already spoken to a few people I know are capable of playing the parts, and we're gonna have them come try out...and if they're as solid of players as I believe them to be, I don't think it'll take too long.
Oak Knoll Jeremy might be crawling out from under his rock to run his merch table at this. Also Contorted Visuals will be there once again for art & design consultations.
He did put out several of those compilations. If he has any left I'm sure he'll bring them Thursday. Fuck I'm gonna email him now and make sure he's going.

yeah if you wanna sit there for an extra 90 minutes. not everybody has your luxorious lifestyle dude. rather go to kenmore, my buddy george gets you in and out. you can't even finish a cigarette after ordering because your meal comes right out and it's ALWAYS cheaper. denny's sucks. DON'T FUCK WITH ME ON THIS.
Kenmore is right in the middle between Ralph's and my house, faster service, better food, yeah choice is clear. In my haste to shut Wren up it looks like I mistakenly put myself in the Denny's camp. Josh I'll see if Alonso can switch up those logos, sure it won't be a problem.

I remember attending the very first metal thursday over 4 years ago not knowing if there would even be a second one let alone 99 more. HUGE thanks to Chris and Sam for having us open #100. Awesome show was awesome. Can't wait for #200.

Only stupid bitches working for US airways saying a flight is delayed til 6 and then letting it leave at 5 while a checked-in unaccompanied minor is in the terminal is real. Or telling the 15 year old on the same flight that he now has no way to get home to Dallas and that it's not their problem and he has to find a hotel for the night is also real.

Such a great show. Thanks to Chris - you're the absolute shit, man. And thanks to everyone who raged for an hour and a half of Blistered Earth. It's killer that the reunion/farewell show goes down as one of our best shows ever!

soooo, who was the couple that kept fucking with me during Blistered Earth? The dude pulled my hair several times and was complaining to his sister that I was annoying and she kept egging him on to try and fuck with me. I don't get why people at metal shows who stand up front get sooo pissy over shit like this. It's a metal show, BANG YOUR FUCKING HEAD.
yeah dude, people were coming up to me afterwards thinking we were going to brawl. it was actually more gay than the dork at gorguts who kept grinding his elbow into me (while I'm headbanging to Stiff and Cold and pretty much the whole set).
I asked the dude if he was having a good time and he said yes, then 2 minutes later his sister there was all offended by my thrashing, saying how annoying I am. Sucks cause I was ripping it up for Blistered Earth and definately didn't want a newbee to have a rough night at his first MT, so I went to the bar. But yeah, thrash or be thrash, big guy!

i can't even begin to express how infuriating behavior like this is. There aren't many things worse than some faggot who doesn't understand how to handle a crowd and thinks that he can control the whole thing. but especially at a metal show. GO THE FUCK HOME. i say let him get pissed off and let his Metal Thursday experience suck, we don't want shitheads like that infecting our event.
