while it's "my" fest, this show is dedicated to the New England metal scene! I wanted to give something to the community (even if it's a poorly booked, crazy ass show).
believe it or not, I've been keeping a file on wren for 2 years now. I believe he was inserted into the new england scene to spy on us and report back to his bosses. that is why he goes to every show, and befriends everybody. wren is a secret agent.
I think Bobfest is a plot to kill a good majority of us.. what else would he mean by:

one slight change to the lineup. Katahdin and Blood Of The Gods are switching places. Katahdin's drummer has work at 6 am. Figured I'd make his life a little easier. So if you're coming to the second half, come early.

im going to start a band called "blue's band" just to confuse everyone. its going to be about blue clues, and van's painted with blues clues on it, with tinted windows, and no door handles on the inside.
Anybody good w/ directions wanna clarify something for me? I don't have gps and I'm driving solo... I've only been to a show in JP once before and the last time the person driving messed up the turn off the pike... took the correct exit, but somehow ended up going the opposite direction we were supposed to be going. Is there a fork or a left exit within the exit or something I should look for? Since I'm going straight from work and will be cutting it really close to when the show actually starts, I don't wanna waste time being lost in Boston.

yeah stay in the left lane on the pike's end and stay too the left, that will bring you onto 93 south.

my friends who did this last nigth are no longer friends of mine..but too say the worst Tony the Security at the North Beacon space is in the hospital fucked up, havign a bat smashed over his skull.. i hope he makes it. because they are saying he is up and down, health wise right now.
KYOTY destroyed it. Their sound is so massive. It's so hard to believe that this band is a 3-piece when you listen to them. I love the intense parts like when the guitar is quiet for long enough so you forget just how booming their are. Then with a click of the pedals, they come in booming again. With the limited number of shows they have played, their set is even more unreal.

Razormaze really impressed me. I don't dig them on recording but live they were great.
Windhand - loud as fuck
Katadin - their vocals were up a little too high and I missed most of their set due to vomitting.
Blood of the Gods - I think I would like them more if they had a different vocal style.
Scaphism - seriously, their songs get stuck in your head for hours!
Los Bungalitos - the only hardcore band of the day and people loved them!
Sacromancy - sooooo black. Sooo good.
Crypter - I was pretty drunk by the time they went on and I just remember them hating on society. And rich people.
fun show was fun. glad the worcester crowd showed up to have fun.
crypter - thrashed, and brought the milfs, 2 very good reasons you should have been there earlier.
sarcomancy - thanks wren for putting us on the show.
los bungalitos - fun band, reminds me of all the stuff my skater friends listened to in the 90's
KYOTO - this band was awesome.
scaphism - Raped the midway cafe.
katahdin - good set. guess eric blew up an amp before they even started. hope this band gets a bass player.
blood of the goods - for some reason i was expecting something else. crushing stuff.

I don't see Sign of the Goat playing Bobfest 3 unless they get their shit together... 1.) they need to find a vocalist 2.)I think the bassist is calling it quits...doesn't look good for Bobfest 3

This show sucked. All of the bands were terrible. The people here were the worst. Especially that guy with the camera, I think he only photographs bands to jerk to sweaty dudes later... I only went for the cupcakes and because Burritos is next door.
