When you first try and connect, your PS3 will tell you that you need to download the patch for 3.61, once you do that, and try to sign in, your PS3 will prompt you to change your password. After that is done, you're all good.

It's been too fucking long since i last blew a hole in someone with a shotgun. I love modern warfare 2. <3

thinking about getting a ps3 soon for the blue ray player. might have to get a copy of this game for playstation and rip it up on the ps3 network

toggletoggle post by ouchdrummer   at May 15,2011 11:58am
yuh. i play too much.

toggletoggle post by Alexecutioner at May 15,2011 12:05pm
i play a lot on xbox but might consider getting another copy for ps3 if i buy one. are the new maps out yet for ps3?

toggletoggle post by ouchdrummer   at May 15,2011 12:06pm
mw2 maps? There've been 2 updates... which one are you talking about? Or is there a different one?

toggletoggle post by The_reverend   at May 15,2011 12:32pm
I have never used the psn and I have had my ps3 since it came out.

toggletoggle post by Alexecutioner at May 15,2011 12:33pm
Yea, the second update of new maps has been out for a week or two, sometimes ps3 doesn't release them at the same time as xbox does.

toggletoggle post by The_reverend   at May 15,2011 12:38pm
Xbox updates things and ps3 takes forever.

toggletoggle post by Alexecutioner at May 15,2011 12:57pm
agreed

You're thinking black ops. Jimbo is talking about MW2.

toggletoggle post by Alexecutioner at May 15,2011 1:06pm
Oh yea haha, whenever someone mentions COD I immediately think of the most recent release to date. I've played enough MW2 to make my head explode

toggletoggle post by Alx_Casket  at May 15,2011 1:06pm
PSN store still isn't open for me, all I could do was update my system last night. >:|

toggletoggle post by ouchdrummer   at May 15,2011 4:45pm
yeah, the actual network opened today.

pires- Black Ops doesn't exist to me, i hate it. I <3 MW2 though.

toggletoggle post by The_reverend   at May 15,2011 5:00pm
No thanks there. MW1 had the best gun controls but mostly terrible guns. MW2 had awesome guns, but shitty controls. Black ops is the better of both worlds.

toggletoggle post by Alexecutioner at May 15,2011 5:12pm
i just enjoy using new gun selections and perks etc each time they put out a new release. there are enough small updates to the multiplayer gameplay and mechanics to keep it interesting for another year otherwise i get bored.

Nope, MW2 was the best first person shooter ever... hopefully not for long though. MW3 was just announced for november 9th.

has anyone played any of the games being offered? I am going to get lbp and infamous

toggletoggle post by Pires at May 18,2011 9:23am
LBP is so much fun. Platformer with infinite levels(TONS of user created levels). I've only played the demo for infamous. Wasn't too impressed, but it's getting great reviews, so I'll probably get that. Only other game that interests me (since j own LBP) is dead nation. I don't care for racing games(wipeout hd) and would probably get bored of super stardust pretty fast.

toggletoggle post by Mutis  at May 18,2011 1:38pm
LBP is really fun and looks great. Whipeout is alright, but kinda leaves you wishing it was Twisted Metal. I've heard super stardust is really fun for multiple couch players.

I'm probably going to get stardust and dead nation.

Will be getting infamous and wipeout. Own LBP and Dead Nation, wasn't thrilled by either of them and SSHD looks rehashed.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at May 18,2011 2:05pm
damn, the only ones I want are LBP and I own them. they should offer LBP2.

toggletoggle post by ark at May 18,2011 2:16pm
infamous is a good superhero city romper, well-deserved good reviews. sequel coming out soon i think. i just bought LBP for like 9 bucks, goddammit sony.
