FALLEN EMPIRE

Mission: Our mission is simple. To bring you innovative, small scale black and death metal from overseas that would cost you an arm and a leg to acquire on your own accord due to outrageous shipping costs. We order titles in bulk and then pass on the savings to you, making the final costs much more reasonable for everybody. We also aim to provide rapid shipping and handling as well as exceptional communication, so you're never left wondering what the status of your items are 4 weeks and 5 unanswered e-mails after your initial order.

Music: New, underground, small scale DIY black and death metal. There is a lot of interesting stuff going on in the DIY metal underground, and we're here to help facilitate the physical product to American fans. We are primarily interested in stocking analog formats: LPs, 7"s and demo tapes, but will consider stocking CDs and CD-r if neccessary. As stated above, we are mostly interested in music released internationally, but we WILL consider distributing American releases as well if we are the exclusive distributor.

Who should contact us: If you run a small black/death record label and want US distribution, you should contact us. If you're in a band that just pressed up your new 7" or demo tape and don't want to deal with packaging and shipping yourself, you should contact us. As of right now we are simply looking to distribute, but we do have plans for our own line of releases in the future. I will be temporarily closing the shop tonight (07/15). I will be selling vinyls at the Ash Borer/Woe show in Philly. There's a chance certain things go out of stock after that show, so if there are any things you had your eye on it might be best to order today before they're gone (Angantyr, Gris, Forteresse , Eagle Twin/Pombagira, Christicide and Total Hate all down to 1 or 2 copies each)

The black/yellow vinyl version of Cobalt - Eater of Birds is back in stock in VERY limited quantity. If you are interested in purchasing this, I would not hesitate, this will go quickly.

Also, I am planning on moving forward into a full on label sometime later this year. My first release, a 12" Split on vinyl, is planned for release in Fall/Winter 2011. For right now that is all I can say. I will make an official announcement when I can.

This lengthy debut is as dark and complex as anything that has come out in recent memory. Cruciamentum - Convocations of Crawling Chaos is also now in stock. This is their heralded 2009 demo finally pressed to vinyl format on 10" MLP. After nearly a decade of existence they only have 2 demos and a Split LP with Angantyr. However, every single release is killer and worth owning. Their 25 minute epic "Sövande Mjöd Vill Jag Tömma" is one of the finest recordings in black metal history, and the best of its kind.
