They are super obnoxious and claim to be metal experts while they seem to know almost nothing about underground metal. I just had to get that off my chest.
They've explained in the past that they are not an underground metal show. They're on VH1 Classic. They represent hard rock and 80's heavy metal. Show is good.
Do Metal fans under 30 really think that mainstream music outlets like MTV and VH1 were talking about Bathory and Death back in the day? The internet has totally confused the youth.
I agree with your point that it's not an underground show. I don't think people are under the impression that MTV used to do specials on bathory but people expect a more balanced approach.
That's bullshit. Most of the people that watch the show think Death Magnetic is killer. Hate to break it to you guys but underground metal fans are a small percentage of the metal and hard rock population.
Yeah but warlock commandos point about the name is pretty spot on. When you choose a name that paints a broad brush like that, people have expectations of broad coverage.

WarlockCommando and Headbanging Man, you tell it like it is. I've seen that show only 'cos of lack of other television at 2A on a weekend morning. But the host with the sideburns sucks pretty bad.
Show is good when they have good guests. The hosts are lame. I lost all respect when they had a Vulgar Display of Power vs. Reign in Blood debate and Pantera won.
But when they have good guests it gets interesting. The Scott Gorham interview was awesome. And you can never go wrong with having a drunk Ace Frehley on your show.
