As previously announced, TRAP THEM are currently recording the follow-up to their highly acclaimed 2011 Prosthetic debut "Darker Handcraft" in Salem, Mass. at GodCity Studio with none other than Kurt Ballou (Skeletonwitch, Converge). The band recently posted the above photo, updating fans with the following: "Drum tracking at GodCity for the new Trap Them LP is now complete thanks to the incredibly talented and ferocious Brad Fickeisen. Now on to guitars!"

You can find out what gear guitarist Brian Izzi will be using in the studio in the latest "Gearheads" feature from Noisey.com HERE.

TRAP THEM's signature sound consists of a unique blend of hardcore, punk and metal influences that has allowed them to tour alongside such diverse acts as Job For a Cowboy, Skeletonwitch, Napalm Death, Black Breath and Every Time I Die. The group's as-yet-untitled new album is expected to be released in the spring.

Stay tuned for more information on the band and their upcoming release:
