Apparently he asked for three 8 ft tall crucifixes, a gallon of liter fluid and a box of matches and a white pride banner.

Met someone who once TA-ed under Maya Angelou. He said that she was an absolutely insufferable asshole and over the top racist towards white people. Definitely vindicated many years of hating her writing.

REKNOWED WEARER OF SILLY HATS AND OCCASIONAL BLACK WOMEN MAYA ANGELOU died at the age of 86 last night in her North Carolina home. Angelou had a long and illustrious career sticking out like a bruised thumb while standing near guilty looking southern Democrats. She first appeared in public wearing a silly hat in 1969, and was later asked to do song and dance numbers in 1970. Her time in the public eye really peaked in the mid 90s though, when she was appointed ‘head house nigger’ by Hillary Clinton.
I was able to reach Hillary this morning at Arlington National Cemetery. “I always looked less racist and incompetent standing next to Maya,’ explained Ms. Clinton while whipping out the deformed mound of flesh that was her pre-op penis. “She could really ‘Jive’ a crowd,” the former first lady and senator of New York began urinating on a Marine’s grave, “[P]artially because she was a good [black women] to stand next to, and partially because you can’t help but look wise standing next to someone wearing such ridiculous hats.” She zipped up, clawed some dirt over the fuming earth were her acidic piss lay festering, and gleefully trotted away.
I tend to agree with President Barak Obama who noted earlier today that “No one can ever know how many people Maya touched with her silly hats, or how many Jim Crow supporting Democrats she helped make palatable to disenfranchised black voters by standing near them, but her spirit lives on in every promising black student who turned down a scholarship t study electrical engineering at MIT to taking on a mountain of debt pursuing a dual degree in literature and African American studies at Vassar.” He added “And let me be clear, her untimely death is a lingering effect of the last administration.”
We have all been touched by Ms. Angelou’s silly hats, even if we don’t realize it. They were big, they were loud, they were ridiculous. Most people don’t realize the courage it takes to wear such a silly hat in public, and over her life she wore more than 1200 such hats. Really there is no way this humble writer could express how the great women moved a generation and a nation. Instead I will quote one of her poems, which she was known to write secretly in a diary since they were not very good:

I was very pleased to hear this news. Always thought her poetry was fucking terrible. I'm sure Oprah will be wringing her hands and gnashing her teeth for months over this.

I have a BA in English. In order to obtain this, one is required to read quite a bit of shit one would not otherwise care to read -- including low-rent poetry that is sold as awesome due to white guilt.
