A Charlestown man who started a GoFundMe page to raise money for the MBTA’s aging transit system says he is shocked by traction it has gained in recent days.
“I’m really surprised how it’s snowballed,” said Janssen McCormick, 30. “I didn’t expect to get any money. I just thought it would be an inside joke for like 10 of my friends.”
