This is just an honest discussion about the ongoing struggle between Muslims/Islam and death metal?

Music is haram when it makes you move, it can make you do things that most would call stupid look intelligent. People dance when music is present but the dancing stop when the music stops. I am going to speak from a personal experience, I grew up listening to rebellious punk rock and heavy metal when I was in high school, I blasted it every day in my car. Up until college, I was almost losing my mind and couldn't think for myself. I just can't explain it. Haram music makes people do bad things, like making me want to fight people.

Muslims as a whole are no better or worse than the likes of Christians or anyone else. Extremists of all faiths and backgrounds are dangerous and therefore resort to terrorist activities to further their cause. Better a Syrian refugee lives in my backyard to gain a respect and appreciation for the American way than live in Syria and join ISIS just to feed their families out of desperation or to avoid being killed outright for opposing. The real solution is for the ISIS militants themslves to turn their guns on their leaders and free their own people. unfortunately that is how this situation started in the first place - by the US arming militant factions for their own revolutionary purposes.

This was the last place I thought I'd be chiming in on politics. But Hoser asked.
Well, the entire kerfuffle is terrifying & I am honestly very scared. Ther is no way to keep EVERY bad egg out of the country. Unfortunately there will be a Paris attack on our shores. But I find friendly, loving pro- US muslims to be delightful people. They have outstanding food & a work ethic to die for. Once Donald Trump is elected all the good Muslims can wait out the slaughter of Isis & their ilk in detention camps like the Japanese did in WWII. Didin't do those folks any harm.
