conway show was good fuckin times...shaniqua and co. were great...so many perplexed 12 year olds...some bitches on ether were in the crowd, no one liked them. then there was the severe mosh towards the end of the night...leading up to the shirtless mosh at the very end...think its retarded? yeah me too. fun fun.

thanks to every single band and person who came...i know we ran really late, but it was such a blast.

Rogel Carrol Trustee was actually pretty decent...the guitar player (the really big dude) is wicked funny and super nice. They were pretty chug chug wee chug chug, but not bad.

And Then There Were None... to me, was the highlight. VERY good, like Darkest Hour but with, admittedly, breakdowns. Still pretty good, and the metal-parts of their style are well done.

Shaniqua was BRILLIANT. FUCKING BRILLIANT. Best show yet, I'm serious...well conducted, everyone was enthralled. A -little- long but the songs are tighter and more meaningful, and the circle jerk at the end made it worth it.

The Hostage Heart was pretty good. They said they were tech metal but when I heard them they seemed kinda like the Network mixed with...some core stuff. They were really nice and I liked their merch, and envied how cheap they could sell it for. Plus people CERTAINLY came to see them, I don't doubt it.

I love The Hour!!! I want to play with them again!!! They cover The Trouble and Minor Threat. To me, that's all you need to do to win smiles on my part. Punk rock how punk rock should sound - loose, shitty, and poorly written. Loved it.

The first band had great guitar players, a very amateuresque vocalist, and a drummer that had a kit that was huge and barely used. And he didn't know many beats or fills. But the guitar players were "Wowing". Called "Dark Horse Lynch Mob". For fans of ManOWar, Black Sabbath, and the ilk. The singer had a "I liked Aerosmith better when they did heroin" shirt.

The second band Burn The Children reminded me a lot at first of what I listened to back in the 90's...like that middle-era boston hardcore 6L6 combined with Scissorfight and Wonderdrug stuff. But then they started to sound like Staind. Then it got sad and I wasn't into it and they played for like an hour and had a sound guy that tweaked everything between songs. Then they would start to play a song and then stop, tweak, start again.

On My Own was alright...they had a sXe sound and a lot of member issues but maybe they're pretty decent when they have the whole line-up there. Kudos on doing a set that fit the time frame, though...Brian specifically said they were only going to do 10 minutes, and they pretty much did.



We did alright...a few out of tune things here and there but no broken strings (GASP!) and I had more energy than usual. Rowan is getting better and better with stage presence. I asked people to hit us if we got boring and I only got bopped in the head once. We had a blast playing. Introduced 2 new songs and the new amp setup I have till I can afford a 4x10 bass enclosure.

Yeah a lot of underage girls that made me confused because you're not supposed to be attracted to 17 year old girls but they were wearing sassy clothes...sigh...

thanks to dan and mike, really. It's great to see people dedicated to making things happen.

The Hostage Heart and And then there were none were played awesome sets like usual too, to bad the show ended so late. But it was worth it.

yes we had our last show last night, soo many guitar problems messed it up but whatever it was still fun.

Haha, we're called Darkhorse, and my shirt said "Aerosmith was better when they were still on heroin". I'm amateuresque cause I just joined the band and I only had 6 days to learn all the songs, plus it was my first show. I'm not being defensive (might come off that way, sorry), but we had a blast and appreciate everyone who came out and saw us. Thanks for the compliments on the guitarists, they will be psyched to hear it. The one to my right on stage, Richard, writes everything, he's a beast. Anywho- thanks to everyone for showing up and shit. We'll have to do this again sometime...

this show was cool. Lots of good bands. Taste of Silver, Shanique, the Hostage Heart, And then there were none. Were all awsome.

the second band was real boring, I think they were called Burn the Children. their drummer and singer were good, but the actual songs sucked. real depressing.

The first band, Darkhorse, were really impressive. The singer was definatly a beginner and the drummer was pretty good. Their songs were definatly original and had a sound that interested me. Never heard anything like them. Awsome Guitar parts. Anyone else think they were good?

this show was pretty good. it was nice to go to a show where no one was an asshole. i tip my hat to the kids who put this show on. i am still sore from moshing and it was 2 days ago. i think i talked to dan i believe helped setup this show. this is josh of forever carved by the way.
