Palindromic knuckledraggers Raw Radar War crank out some enjoyable craggy-edged doom, each lead-heavy thud languishing miserably in its own tarry filth while Jonah Jenkins (ex of Milligram and the ill-fated Miltown) ditches his usual hearty singing voice and gargles with a throatful of shite. Over on the flip Deer Creek are up to something mighty strange, coming across like a standard rock n roll act who've been detuned to the point of oblivion and forced to act out all their riffs in gloopy slow motion.
