first off, those shirts with only one sleave are so dumb.

teratism: I thought they were making fun of me their whole set because they kept commenting about the other teratism band. A band which I saw a few years ago and thought these 2 bands were the same. Anyhow, they were making fun of the fact that the flyer had the other teratism's logo on it. So, this was basically their first show in 5 years. It was awesome. Fast, grinding death metal. I couldn't believe how fast they played. Also, the vocals that the dual singers unleashed were very dynamic. I got the cd for my show this week.

kevorkians angels: they played an awesome set. I'm not sure about the new song, I couldn't really hear it very well, but they played the 3 or 4 tracks of theirs that I really really like. now, I have to get that damn bassline out of my head. and damn, that drummer is good.

ascendancy: well.. they sort of sounded like coffee at first (sorry about that guys). Actually, at the beginning the sound board guy wouldn't stop playing with their vocals. He kept moving them all over the place. After he stopped, the vocals sounded good. the kick drum sounded really thuddy and flat though the PA. which is too bad cause seth is pretty sick. Their new bassist, let's call him josh, fit right in. He learned all the songs in about a week. so either he's good or their bass lines are simple. He seemed to not know what to do when t-dog and deodium went for a walk outside and head banged on hardvard st.

ok, insert seth putnam pulling up in a cab that he was driving... weird...

bane of existence: for the first 3 songs, the vocals sounded horrible. part of it was the PA and the other was Doug's throat. After they got to solace in the arms f the dead, his throat seemed to snap into shape and for the next 3 songs, sounded sick. BOE also had the same flat sound from the kick drum through the PA. I think they need to get better PA speakers in there if they are going to mic the drums.
